Rated 5 out of 5 by Maya_23 from Very comfortable shoes for taking long walks!! I love how unique the patterns of the samba shoes are. The grey,brown,black,beige colours used blend brilliantly well with each other. Apart from it being intriguing, it is comfortable. I usually go on long walks and my feet would hurt a lot after, but when I started wearing the samba’s I realised that my feet didn’t hurt as much as it use to. So not only are they gorgeous but your comfort is paid detailed attention to. What also intrigues me is how the textures differ from each other on a single shoe you can feel so many different textures, like leather, suede. I recommend this product if you want something intriguing and comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hdjshd from Fits like a glove if you get the size right [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sizing is a smidge small. I’m a U.K. size 5 to 5.5 and normally wear 5.5 in Adidas and 6 for Adidas running shoes. I had to size up to a size 6 because my big toe was just touching the top in the 5.5. I got the white ones with grey toe and black stripes. Lovely neutral colours that go with so many outfits - yes practically everyone in London has Sambas but there’s a reason they’re so popular. These fit like a glove and I love them for daily wear. The sole is a bit thinner than I’m used to so maybe not suitable for long walks on uneven / rocky terrain.

I bought the Sambas 4/20 purple suade shoes and they're supposed to come with a stash pocket and good vibes stiched on the back. The shoe arrived today with no stash pocket and no 'good vibes' stiched on the heel. Thoroughly disappointed as these were my birthday present to myself and now I've gotta deal with sorting out this order because Adidas have sold me something I didn't want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Valley from Nice shoes, but not as comfortable as expected [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. Adidas sizes seem smaller that anything else I've owned. Nontheless the exchange process was smooth. 2. The collar padding ,right above the heel, rises pretty high. It currently rubs against my left Achille's tendon, but I'm hoping this isn't an insurmountable problem and perhaps I can persuade it to stretch back a little, and away from the tendon. Mind you, my tendon it is rather sore right now, after only 20 mins of walking. 3. The materials seem generally of good quality. I just wish the internal lining contained real leather rather than synthetic leather. I expect this it will degrade fast, as PU leathers always do.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ChrisB from Genuinely dangerous I want to love these. They look great, they fit great, and they feel well made for the price. But they also lose all their grip the second there's any moisture on the ground, and it's dangerous. The first time I wore these I slipped on a path and fell badly. I broke my wrist and a rib and cracked my elbow. I assumed it was the path's fault, until a few days later when I wore them for the second time and slipped and fell again. Both times my feet simply shot out from beneath me with no warning. I'm 39 years old and I've never fallen like this in my life. I've never known a shoe to lose its traction so completely when faced with a touch of rain. These are legitimately dangerous. Looking at reviews it seems this has been a known issue for at least a couple of years. I'd strongly encourage Adidas to address it before they find themselves on the wrong side of a class action, because people are genuinely getting hurt wearing these.
